So I'm back to the single album format again, which I'll update every week or so. All 2005 links are active in the comments of the respective album posts. I won't be doing anymore bulk link updates like my last few posts. I've totally caught up to where i was last July with the bonus of finding all the missing albums I was looking for (with the help of friends). So to this point I have years 1998 through 2004 completed! 

Thanks for everyones continued support, now let's move forward....

2004 Albums

So here are all the albums for 2004. There are some real highlights, including a great Nonsuch Records collection, another in the Americana series and an awesome Motown selection, not to forget some interesting themed collections.

Some of you may have noticed that for a time I restricted all downloads to FileFactory Premium account holders. I have to admit I did so because I was a little disappointed at the lack of feedback I was getting from downloaders. When you put a lot into something, it's nice to get at least some support or thanks from time to time. I know many in the downloading community are 'hit and run' types, but I'd like to think that there are some decent folk out there who actually appreciate what I'm doing.

Rant aside, I do also encourage you to check out the FileFactory Premium account as an option for storing and sharing files. They have an unlimited storage policy that enables my links to stay active even when not being actively downloaded. A lot of other sites don't offer this as I found out with my original posts.

2003 Albums

Moving forward here are all the albums for 2003. I'm hoping to get one more post done before I go on holiday at the end of this month. I think you'll have more than enough to keep you occupied within this post for a while though. 2003 was a great year for Uncut compilations. There are some amazing artists and performances to be discovered throughout the course of the year. As always, I'll be adding the links to the original posts as well.

Clichéd Shining reference aside, I am indeed back after my long hiatus. Firstly I want to thank everyone that passed on their support and condolences for the incident my family and I suffered through. I really appreciate all your kind comments. 

Three people I particularly want to thank, and whose contributions I am posting today, are Dimitris, Sven and Sean who have helped me fill in some of the albums I was missing.

Dimitris has unearthed the holy grail of releases so to speak, the very first cd released in January 1998...

Just when I thought I was up...

No pic or links with this post I'm afraid. Had a bad day yesterday. Was just leaving the house with the family when four guys with guns jumped us and forced us back inside. They tied up the whole family and then ransacked the place. We've lost all our electronics, jewellery and a lot of cash. Where I live it's called a home invasion and it's been on the rise recently. It's actually the second time it's happened to me. It's certainly not much fun having a pistol held to the back of your head and being tied hand and foot. Luckily no one was hurt but the whole family is pretty shaken up. As a coincidence I've lost my laptop with all my data for the blog. Strangely they didn't take my main hard drive with all my music but it's going to be a few weeks at least before I can post anything new. I'm using a borrowed iPhone to write this. Anyway, please bear with me as I try to get back online.

Links and future of the blog

As many of you have noticed, many of the links are dead and I haven't posted anything new since July of 2012. It is my intention to re-up as many of the dead links as possible and continue with new posts at some point in the near future but for now the blog is on hiatus as it's becoming too time consuming for me to manage. I'll do my best to answer any requests for re-ups in the mean time.
